Was Jesus actually real?

While I'm over here, building this wall to dodge behind in case someone wants to throw hard and/or sharp objects at me, I would like you to think about the Biblical character of Jesus. Now, I was raised in the Swedish Protestant Church (I don't even know if this church has any American counterpart). I was baptized before I could speak and I went through confirmation before I was 15 years old. I was always skeptical, but I have always been fascinated by the myth of Jesus of Nazareth, especially how the Hell (heh) he got out of that cave. As you read the following ramblings, please remember that this is just thinking. I can't find any support for most of my rant in points 3-4, because so far. we have no historical records of a Jesus of Nazareth. 1. There is no support for most of the gospels in the Bible, according to Dr Richard Carrier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4Gs-LUqv-M 2. Religion is a gift

OK, now that I have your attention, let me explain the title. I have always been fascinated by mythology. Now that I'm 32 years old, I find that the stories from the Bible, Roman and Greek mythology, Celtic hero stories, Norse mythology, Hinduism, Shintoism etc to be awesome fodder for creativity. Just look at TV shows like Sleepy Hollow, Charmed, or Supernatural, books lik...

In the beginning...

This blog is my way of getting my thoughts out on certain things that pop into my head. I will cover every thought I get from the universe, gaming, and theology to daily things, my past, and interesting YouTube videos. I will also start a series on Mythological Beings Through History. This will have a long term schedule and will not be finished soon, nor will it have specific dead-lines. I will try to have one post out per week, but I make no promises, as my work schedule is very erratic.
